i am a senior data engineer at mckinsey & company with more than twelve years of experience turning complex business problems into reliable, production-ready data solutions. i spend most of my time in the modern data stack, building data products with dbt and snowflake, and lately doing a lot of that work alongside ai agents.

before mckinsey i spent years in analytics engineering, decision support, and reporting across consulting, healthcare, marketing, education, and regulated environments. that range taught me how to design data models that hold up under real scrutiny, and how to explain them to the people who depend on them. my background in applied mathematics, where i earned both a bachelor’s and a master’s, still shapes how i think through problems and balance precision with what is practical.

outside of the technical work, what drives me is learning, teaching, fitness, and travel, and the constant pull to get a little better at all of them. philliant is where those threads meet. it is where i share the lessons i pick up building real systems in public, little by little, one post (and now one chapter) at a time.
