refund policy

this policy explains how refunds work for the digital products i sell, such as my books. it sits alongside my terms of service and applies to purchases made through my store.

digital downloads
#

my digital products are delivered as instant downloads and can be copied once delivered, so sales are generally final once the download is available. please review the description and any preview before you buy.

refund exceptions
#

i will review a refund request in the following cases:

  • a corrupted or unreadable file that i cannot help you fix
  • a duplicate charge for the same item
  • a product that is materially not as described

please make your request within a reasonable window, such as 14 days from the date of purchase.

how to request a refund
#

sales of my digital products are handled by lemon squeezy as the merchant of record, so refunds are issued through lemon squeezy. to start a request, contact me on linkedin or contact lemon squeezy, and include the email address and order number from your receipt. if the request is approved, lemon squeezy refunds your original payment method.

statutory rights
#

nothing in this policy removes any refund or withdrawal rights you have under the consumer laws that apply to you. where those rights apply, they are handled by lemon squeezy as the merchant of record.

books bought on amazon
#

books bought through amazon, whether kindle or print, are sold by amazon and follow amazon’s own return and refund policies, not this one. please request those refunds through amazon.
