using this site#
i publish this site to share and document my work. you are welcome to read it, link to it, and quote it with attribution. a few limits apply:
- do not republish substantial portions of my writing as your own
- do not use the content in a way that is misleading or unlawful
i try to keep the site accurate, but it is provided as is, without warranties, and i do not guarantee that it is free of errors.
intellectual property#
the writing, books, and original materials on this site are mine and are protected by copyright. you may not copy, redistribute, or resell them except as these terms allow.
when you buy a digital product, you receive a personal, non-transferable license to read and use it for yourself. that license does not transfer copyright, and it does not let you share, resell, or redistribute the files.
buying digital products#
sales of my digital products are handled by lemon squeezy, which acts as the merchant of record and seller for those transactions. lemon squeezy processes your payment, calculates and remits any tax, and delivers your download. a few things to know about purchases:
- prices are shown at checkout and may change over time
- your purchase is also subject to lemon squeezy’s own terms as the seller of record
- books bought through amazon are sold by amazon under amazon’s own terms, not these
refunds#
because my digital products are delivered as instant downloads, sales are generally final. for the full details, including the cases where i will consider a refund, see my refund policy.
changes to these terms#
i may update these terms as the site and what i offer change. the version posted on this page is the current one, and continuing to use the site or buy products means you accept the latest version.
